Bear Hunting
Golden Eagle Lodge & Outposts has the advantage of being totally remote. The closest settlement is the town of Lynn Lake, MB which is located 30 miles northwest of Golden Eagle Lodge.
Access to Golden Eagle Lodge and our outpost camps is only via float plane, so our population of black bears has not been exposed to any outside hunting pressure.
You will find adjustable height tree stands with swivel seats and a rifle rest. We also utilize digital trail cameras to document time bears visit baits, size of bears and color phase (approximately 30% color phase in our area) in order to place hunters in stands that will produce large bears.
