I am and have been an avid outdoorsman for over 25 years and have always enjoyed sharing my experiences with family and friends. I spend all my free time fishing for Walleye and have travelled to many places in search of the “big one”. In recent years I have taken up archery hunting and look forward to opening day of deer season and the challenge of taking a white tail with my bow. I always enjoy new challenges and experiences, and that drive is what has brought me to Golden Eagle Lodge, to catch giant Pike and Walleye and help others to do the same.

I'm from Vegreville, Alberta. This is my first year as a guide, but I have lots of experience with fishing and hunting. I have been fishing for 15 years with friends and family, and have hunted for 5 years, including getting my first black bear last spring. I love being out in the woods and on the water, it is my greatest passion. I work good with people and I am very caring for others and I will treat my guests as they are my own family.
I've always wanted to be a guide when I was young and now that I'm old enough I am making my dream come a reality.

Hi, I’m Sandra, I’m from Thompson, Manitoba. This is my second year working at Golden Eagle Lodge. My job here is a cabin cleaner, also I take care of the owners, Jason & Marnie’s children, Coleman & Kymber. My first year at Golden Eagle Lodge was my first experience working at a fly-in-lodge. I really enjoy it out here, its very beautiful. On my spare time I love to fish and go out for boat rides and just enjoy the scenery. Working for Jason & Marnie I feel like part of their family, hey are wonderful people.

My name is Ernest Bighetty, I am from Brochet, Manitoba. I have been a guide for 17 years and enjoy my job very much because I get to meet different types of people in this industry. My hobbies are reading, taking walks, and of course fishing. I have become very good friend with Jason, Marnie, Coleman & Kymber. They make me feel like part of their family.

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent most of my life out in the country where I enjoy hunting and fishing. I hunt for black bear, whitetail deer, moose and waterfowl. My fishing interests are jigging and trolling for Walleye & casting for huge Pike as well as watching and helping my guests fulfill their needs. In my spare time I enjoy quadding, snowmobiling, and play numerous sports.

I am from Walkerton, Ontario and have been fishing the local river and small streams for Pike, Trout and Bass for 20 years. I was a fishing guide for 3 years in Northern Ontario where I guided clients to many trophy Pike and large numbers of Walleye. Prior to Golden Eagle Lodge, I was a ranch manager and hunting guide in Texas where we hunt White tail deer and exotic animals. The thought of 50 inch Pike, monster black bears and the great northern experience has brought me to Golden Eagle Lodge for another chapter in my life.
